"Kerry is a most gentle, intelligent and skilled practitioner. When I compare myself to this time last year I can see that I have benefited enormously from the combination of Kerry’s intuitive counselling and healing of the body through BodyTalk."

"No words to say how much thanks I have..."

I went to Kerry in a desperate attempt to help me with my anxiety over my upcoming flight to Barcelona. If you have a fear of flying you will be a skeptic like me and not believe getting a grip on this fear is possible. I am pleased to say that I am home and not only was the flight fear free it was actually quite fun!!! Kerry is a calm, warm, knowledgeable, highly respected, assuring and nurturing healer who not only helped me conquer a fear but has lead me on a journey that is bringing balance and harmony back into my life in all areas. No words to say how much thanks I have.

"My time with Kerry has had a very positive impact on my lifestyle..."

"For as long as I can remember I have suffered from claustrophobia and a fear of elevators, which has gotten worse in the last 10 years or so.

After working with Kerry I am very happy to say that I have used more elevators in the past three months than I have in the past 10 years. With zero panic attacks and no more feelings of debilitating dread engulfing my whole body. My time with Kerry has had a very positive impact on my lifestyle and I would recommend her to anyone looking to make a positive change to their lives."

"My daughter just returned to her normal self..."

"In late May, on a Saturday afternoon, my 9 year old and daughter and I were casually walking down the road to a friend's house. As we chatted and laughed together, a suspicious looking car drove past us, slowed and stopped just ahead of us. I immediately felt on edge. The driver opened his door and pointed to his phone, asking me to come and show him some directions. I held my daughter and stepped away from the car. In a split second, he'd jumped out and held me at knife point, the passenger jumped out too and pointed a gun at us. My daughter just screamed! All I had on me was a phone, I just threw it at the driver. He grabbed it and just as quickly they drove away. It was an utterly surreal experience. My daughter just cried and cried and shook with shock. We slowly turned back and returned home to tell my husband about it all, where I then fell to pieces.

I contacted Kerry asking her advice about what to do for a child whose experienced such an incident. She advised me to get counselling within 48 hours and also offered for myself and my daughter to come and see her to have this new "post trauma technique" she'd recently learnt, done. It was incredibly effective. 3 Days post the event, we were both having a lot of flashbacks, my daughter was irrationally angry with her little brother and I was very emotional all the time. The technique took about 5 minutes for Kerry to do on each of us and it just drained the negative energy and the power of the incident away.

My daughter just returned to her normal self and has barely mentioned the event since, no nightmares or fear or sleeplessness. I stopped thinking about it all the time and when I did, it was so much less all-consuming. It's just a memory rather than an entire physical experience, where I'd break out in a cold sweat and enter into fight and flight mode just with the thought of it. The incident has left me still very wary when walking in the neighbourhood with my children, I'm on high alert when I'm out, but I certainly don't relive what happened all the time.

I would highly recommend this technique to anyone who has experienced any form of trauma."

"I've been blessed to have Kerry as part of this journey..."

"I started seeing Kerry in 2015 at what felt like the lowest point in my life. I was struggling with depression and anxiety, physical ailments, difficulties in expressing emotions and maintaining healthy relationships and just generally knew I needed help. I also knew I needed to see someone who would understand that I did not see the mind and body as separate entities and that I expected that much of my physical ailments were very strongly linked to what was going on in my head.

Kerry was a great fit as a therapist for me. She created a space which felt safe enough for me to explore memories and experiences that I had not dealt with previously. She was supportive but also tough on me when it was needed. Dealing with the hard things is how we get past things and move forward!

I can honestly say that the integrated approach - psychotherapy, BodyTalk and hypnotherapy - has brought me now, just over a year later, to a place where I no longer dwell in long spells of depression and anxiety and have developed better relationships with my friends and family through learning to express myself. I don't imagine that my work on myself is done (is it ever?) but I've been blessed to have Kerry as part of this journey so far and I expect I will continue to see her regularly in future."

"The changes were again almost immediately noticeable..."

"I contacted Kerry to do a session with my new 4year old mare, Jazz, who had just arrived from KZN in really poor condition. She was dehydrated and the vet was worried about her lungs, suspecting ulcers and all kinds of things. She had a virus as well, and wasn't responding too well. Almost as I received the audio of Kerry's first session with her, she started to improve. Kerry had found something to do with hydration, and tapped this out. Over the next 24 hours I could almost see her cells plumping out as she was finally able to use the water she was now drinking furiously. Her health improved in leaps and bounds and she started to put on weight and her coat grew glossy and shiny.

She had had a really rough few months, with lots of unscheduled trips and new homes - and I was worried about her settling in to her new home in Noordhoek. About 6 weeks after the first session, I asked Kerry to do a follow up. Jazz had settled quite well, but was still anxious and sensitive to possible changes. Her personality was emerging, and she became playful and a bit 'nippy', especially around feeding times. Under saddle, I noticed a reluctance that I worried may be due to soreness or similar. Kerry again worked with her via a photo, and the changes were again almost immediately noticeable. She seems to have strengthened in her body, and found a new grace and balance. She greets me with pricked ears and walks up to me confidently.

I really believe that she now trusts me, and our future together. She has started to make friends with other horses, as though she believes that she has a stable home now, and won't be moved again in a hurry.

Jazz is now a confident, playful, respectful mare, who loves attention and carrots, and also appears to be really enjoying her work, both ridden and on the ground."
